Registered Nurses, are you looking for a unique opportunity? Or something different? We are excited to announce that Featherstone Periodontics and Implant Dentistry is looking for a full-time RN at our Rockford location. NO nights, NO weekends, NO holidays, and competitive pay!

• Monday 7:30am-5pm
• Tuesday 7:30am-5pm
• Wed- OFF
• Thursday 7:30am-5pm
• Friday 7:30am-2pm

Clinical responsibilities for approximately one-half of the workday and administrative responsibilities for the remaining one-half (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). Fridays will be designated as a full clinical day.

• Venipuncture for L-PRF therapy
• Manipulation of usable blood products (L-PRF) for surgical procedures
• Complete training for local anesthesia
• Local anesthesia administration as needed for surgical procedure
• Must complete moderate sedation competency
• Sedating patients via IM injection or IV administration for surgical procedure
• Monitoring patients under anesthesia
• Provides educational instruction for patients and families
• Maintain and record patient information
• Prepare and sustain the clinical environment
• Complete pre and post-op phone calls to patients
• Follow up on medical clearances and coordinate prescription requests as needed to support patient care

• Active IL-RN license with 2-3 years of patient care experience.
• Must have excellent IV and assessment skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the functions in a dental environment and the collaborative approach to patient care is a plus.
• Must be self-directed, self-confident, and function as a positive force in the unit and a team player.
• Completion of ACLS

• Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program
• Active IL-RN license in good standing.
• Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience
