About The Opportunity
TOPTAL CARE Inc is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Critical Care specializing in CCU/ICU for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in Rockford, Illinois. This role focuses on providing advanced care to critically ill CCU patients in a mid-large hospital environment. The contract guarantees 48 hours weekly with overtime provisions, suited for dedicated travel nurses residing over 50 miles from the facility.

• Monitor and assess high-acuity CCU patients, detecting subtle changes and initiating timely interventions.
• Deliver complex medications, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring per critical care standards.
• Coordinate with physicians and specialists to optimize patient outcomes through comprehensive care plans.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient data, adhering to regulatory and safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families on critical conditions while promoting recovery and transition to lower acuity care.

• Valid RN license in Illinois or compact state.
• At least 1-2 years of CCU/Critical Care experience in mid-large hospital settings.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Commitment to full 13 weeks, including every other weekend and holiday rotations.
• No local candidates within 50 miles of Rockford, IL considered.
