Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with an active IL RN license and multiple advanced certifications for mid and night shift coverage.
Responsibilities- Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes emergency and trauma cases
- Mid-shift and night-shift schedule with weekend and holiday rotations
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare team is required
- Duties include medication administration, care planning, documentation, and patient/family education
- Expected to participate in unit performance improvement and shared governance activities
- Role requires strong critical thinking and ability to escalate patient safety concerns appropriately
- Team-oriented work environment with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Active IL RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of ER RN experience required
- Certifications needed: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
- Demonstrated skills in emergency nursing and patient assessment
