A Leadership Role with Eternal Impact
For more than 60 years, the Mission has remained steadfast in its mission:
to share hope and help in Jesus’ name, moving people from homelessness and despair toward personal and spiritual wholeness. Every day, the Mission provides compassionate care and transformative services to individuals facing homelessness, poverty, abuse, and addiction. The Mission operates with just under 100 full‑ and part‑time staff as well as hundreds of volunteers and maintains an annual operating budget of approximately $8.6 million, including cash donations, in‑kind gifts, and social enterprise revenue.
The Mission's size, longevity, and impact are a testament to God's faithfulness and the strength of the Mission's relationships with local churches, community organizations, and donors.
The next CEO will be a leader whose love for Jesus inspires a deep commitment to the men, women, and children whose lives are being transformed at the Mission through faith in Christ. This individual will bring both spiritual maturity and strategic expertise to advance the Mission’s impact while faithfully upholding its Statement of Faith, Purpose, Mission, and Core Values.
Key leadership priorities include:
Spiritual Leadership: Ensuring that all programs and operations remain Christ‑centered, spiritually vibrant, and aligned with the Mission’s values.
Strategic Direction: Collaborating with the Board of Directors to set vision, drive innovation, and position the Mission for long‑term sustainability and growth.
Team Building: Developing and supporting a strong, mission‑driven leadership team and fostering a healthy, unified organizational culture.
Community & Donor Engagement: Building trusted relationships with donors, churches, partners, and the broader community to strengthen support and expand ministry opportunities.
Operational Excellence: Overseeing programs, finances, and resources to ensure effectiveness, accountability, and operational integrity. The ideal candidate will be spiritually mature, servant‑hearted, and strategically minded. They will demonstrate proven organizational leadership, relational excellence, and the ability to make wise, faith‑driven decisions in a complex ministry environment.
