Value Added Distributors is ready to welcome you as our next full-time Production Associate – Hose Assembler in Rockford, IL. This is a rewarding, steady day‑shift role where your craftsmanship supports customers who count on safe, high‑quality hydraulic assemblies every single day.
Pay & Schedule- Pay: $18 an hour
- Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

- Assemble assigned product parts (hydraulic hose assemblies) in alignment with production guidelines, company policies/procedures, and customer requirements
- Monitor quality processes and complete inspection paperwork accurately
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Maintain a neat, clean work area at all times
- Build and apply detailed knowledge of production processes
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds using proper lifting techniques
- Skill using equipment such as saws, crimpers, forklifts, etc
- Computer skills are highly desirable
- Comfort applying basic math skills in production settings
- Ability to use and read tape measures and digital calipers
- You work quickly, accurately, and independently in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- 18 years of age or older is required to operate equipment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
