.

The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and improve manufacturing processes using traditional and non-traditional company methodologies based on product and factory requirements. A degreed engineer with a manufacturing mindset who can identify and develop complex projects from start to finish would be an excellent fit.

• Design tooling and fixtures using CAD
• Utilize a strong understanding of CNC machining, grinding and finishing processes
• Prepare and process information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data trends
• Recognize process weaknesses and present improvement plans
• Develop new manufacturing techniques and conduct training with production employees
• Research and implement new equipment and technologies related to manufacturing
• A mix of office work and working out on the production floor
• Communicating technical information in an effective way to a variety of audiences

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, such as mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering; or technology highly preferred
• 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing engineering role preferred
• 1+ years of experience working in a CNC machine shop environment highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical information effectively
• Understanding and experience with CAD and CAM software (Creo Parametric preferred)
• Experience with automation technologies preferred
• Understanding of additive manufacturing technologies preferred

This is an on-site, full-time position that may require intermittent overtime based on workflow demands.

The salary range for this position is $70-80K
.
