Are you a natural leader with a passion for helping others build independent, meaningful lives? Stepping Stones of Rockford, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to oversee residential sites, support clients with mental health needs, and lead a dedicated team in a person-centered environment.
What You’ll DoAs a Program Manager, you’ll be the hub of coordination, care, and leadership. Your work will directly impact clients’ success in the community.
- Coordinate and implement Individual Treatment Plans
- Teach community living, budgeting, and daily life skills
- Supervise staff and oversee daily site operations
- Ensure safe, clean, and supportive residential environments
- Monitor and educate clients on medications and wellness
- Complete documentation and service notes accurately and on time
- Provide counseling, problem-solving support, and crisis response
- Act as a liaison with families, agencies, and community partners
- Lead staff training, meetings, and emergency preparedness
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in mental health or social services
- Meets Medicaid Rule 140 – Mental Health Professional qualifications
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Valid Illinois driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Full-time, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Moderately active and engaging work environment
- Hands-on role with clients and staff
