Maintenance Director

We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Director. This is a Full-Time position with a competitive salary. The schedule is M-F, from 8am – 4:30pm.

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Maintenance Director or Supervisor
• Knowledge of basic repairs and equipment with relation to a hospital setting
• A high school diploma or G.E.D
• A valid Illinois Driver’s License
• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties
• Must have good problem-solving and trouble‑shooting abilities
• Be personable and professional with residents, families and staff and a team‑player

• Maintain including repairs of areas and property
• Implement a preventative maintenance program
• Assure the proper maintenance and running condition of all appliances and machinery, laundry equipment, forced air units, air handlers, boilers and heating units in the boiler room, sump pumps, emergency generator, fire alarms and elevators
• Supervise all repairs, construction, renovation, and remodeling and routine maintenance of the building and all department equipment
• Adhere to established fire, disaster, safety, infection control and evacuation policies and procedures
