- Support and maintenance of all Mission facilities
- Support the completion of special maintenance projects
- Support housekeeping supply and administration
- Assist in lawn care and snow removal
- Assist with keeping Mission properties clean and free of litter and debris
- Accompany, observe, and cooperate in the maintenance of heating and cooling systems, lighting and security and safety systems.
- Assist with facility and equipment needs with Development Department for special events.
- Help with special pickups as assigned.
- Assist program residents on special projects.
- Support and observe a variety of ongoing projects.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to address emergency situations and special event needs.
- Manifest Christian character traits of integrity, trustworthiness, responsibility, etc.
- Be teachable and function as a team player. Receive training on building and vehicle maintenance, operation, and systems.
- Perform related work and other duties when required and as assigned.
- Minimum requirement High School or GED
- Prefer introductory knowledge of electrical systems building and HVACR units, carpentry, and plumbing experience.
- General familiarity in the automotive, maintenance, housekeeping and construction areas.
- Understanding of safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Ability to perform projects that require strength and high levels of energy.
- Frequent moving, pushing, pulling and climbing. Frequent standing for extended periods of time.
