** BANQUET SERVER
**** 3% QUARTERLY ATTENDANCE BONUS
**** As a Banquet Server on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:
*** Review and understand Banquet Event Orders or Event Plan to ensure banquet rooms are set as per the customer request.
* Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert table/carts and cordial carts.
* Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting and ensure guest satisfaction throughout meal service.
* Deliver and serve welcome drinks, food, meals, condiments, and accompaniments etc.
* Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation.
* Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area.
* Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
* Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
* Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the banquet/meeting rooms.
* Other duties may be required and assigned from time-to-time.
** The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:
*** One to two years of experience in a similar role in an upscale hotel.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
* Use judgement and reasoning to cope with emergencies.
* Knowledge and understanding of various banquet and food service techniques and standards.
* Good personality and positive interpersonal skills.
* Dependability and regular attendance.
* Ability to work evenings and weekends.
* Pay starting at $9/Hour plus gratuity
