Position

Summary

Provide in‑office and community clinical assessment to determine services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of behavioral health treatment services to patients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.

  • Non‑licensed — $3,000
  • Licensed — $4,000
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in counseling, psychology, social work or another related field. Master’s degree in licensable field strongly preferred.
  • Must qualify as a MHP or higher per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132
  • Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC), or licensed in Illinois as a LSW, LPC, or higher, within 2 years of employment.
  • Knowledge of DSM diagnoses and appropriate criteria for each diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of accepted assessment techniques.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic healthcare record.
  • Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the prescribed time frames.
  • Self‑starter with ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements (designated positions).
  • Must have own transportation (designated positions).
Responsibilities
  • Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
  • Schedule and conduct in‑office and community assessment interviews with potential clients and their significant others.
  • Formulate initial diagnostic impression and appropriate recommendations.
  • Provide case management and counseling services to assigned patients.
  • Utilize intervention skills as required to place the patient in the appropriate level of treatment services.
  • Maintain knowledge of community, school and recovery resources in order to make appropriate interagency referrals as required.
  • Provide networking, linkage and follow‑up with referral sources.
  • Ensure that patient service records are maintained consistent with standards, rules and regulations.
  • Work with the treatment team to develop the individual treatment plan and assist the patients with treatment plan objectives.
  • Document information in the patient service records consistent with rules and regulations.
  • Participate in staffing sessions to review patient’s progress and establish future clinical direction.
  • Assume on‑call responsibilities as scheduled or when necessary.
  • Serve as a member of the Access Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  • Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Ethics.
  • Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values and expectations of Rosecrance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  • Serve as a role model for other staff, patients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  • Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.
Schedule
  • Shift: Monday – Thursday 10:30 am–7:00 pm with Friday 8:30 am–5:00 pm.
Compensation & Rewards

(Pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)

Base Pay: Bachelor’s: $50,835.20 a year, Master’s (Qualified Mental Health Professional): $57,761.60 a year.

Additional Pay Enhancements (In Addition To Base Salary)
  • Professional Certification (e.g., CADC, CRSS, or CPS): +$0.72 /hour (equivalent of +$1,500 annualized)
