Position SummaryParticipate as a team member in the delivery of services, primarily working with a co‑occurring population. Facilitate the issues of recovery into client’s daily living situations. Provide program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field, or equivalent experience and training
- Must qualify as a MHP or higher per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132
- Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC), or licensed in Illinois as a LSW or LPC which supersedes the CADC within 2 years of employment in substance use disorder services
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer proficiency required
- Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic healthcare record
- Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the prescribed time frames
- Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling. (Knowledge of Mental Health disorders including Co‑occurring disorders)
- Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources
- Self‑starter with ability to work independently
- Ability to work within a team

- Work hours prescribed by leadership and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned
- Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and/or family members. (Knowledge of Mental Health Disorders)
- Complete client psychosocial and individualized treatment plan within required time frame
- Identify client clinical and case management needs and work to address those needs
- Educate client and client support members regarding all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery
- Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients
- Ensure that documentation in client service record is maintained consistent with expectations defined by SUPR, TJC and Medicaid regulations
- Maintain communications with all staff (e.g., admissions, case management and discharge plans)
- Assume on‑call responsibilities per schedule or when designated
- Present workshops, lectures and training to clients, families, and staff and community groups
- Be familiar with court proceedings and available to make court appearances on behalf of Rosecrance clients
- Serve as a member of the team and participate in all team meetings and activities
- Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer
- Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance
- Assume other related responsibilities as delegated and assigned by management

Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Compensation & RewardsBase Pay:
Bachelor's $50,835.20 a year,
Master's (Qualified Mental Health Practitioner) $57,761.60 a year
Additional Pay Enhancements (in addition to base salary):
- Professional Certification (e.g., CADC, CRSS, or CPS): +$0.72/hour (equivalent of +$1,500 annualized)
- 1st Level Clinical Licensure (e.g., LPC/LSW/LMSW): +$0.87/hour (equivalent of +$1,800 annualized)
- 2nd Level Clinical Licensure (e.g., LCPC/LCSW/LMHC): starting at +$2.16/hour (equivalent of +$4,500 annualized)
