MH Clinician - Mobile Crisis Response (Mid shift)

Join Rosecrance Behavioral Health as a Mobile Crisis Response Clinician (Mid shift). We lead behavioral health services for over a century and are searching for a dedicated professional to provide mental health rehabilitation services, reduce crisis episodes, and enhance community functioning.

In this role you will provide mental health rehabilitation services to clients and families to decrease hospitalization and crisis episodes, and increase community functioning. You will ensure continuity of program services within a safe therapeutic environment, consistent with regulatory and accreditation standards, and facilitate recovery for clients and families.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or related field.
• MHP or QMHP qualified per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Computer proficiency and experience documenting in an electronic health record.
• Skilled in individual, family, group counseling and coordinating home visits.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community travel.
• Self‑starter who works independently and within a team.
• Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance.

• Provide crisis and outpatient mental health counseling to clients in community settings.
• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions and educational workshops.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate services with community resources, case management, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with clinical team, attend team meetings, and support on‑call rotation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate positive guest relations.
• Adhere to confidentiality and professional code of ethics.
• Implement evidence‑based practices and treatment concepts.

• Tuesday‑Saturday 11:30 am – 8:00 pm (40 hrs per week). 1st shift.

Rosecrance Ware Center – Rockford, IL (Onsite, community based).

Base salary: $50,835.20–$57,761.60 / yr based on degree. Additional pay includes evening shift premium, on‑call hours, holiday pay, and incentive bonuses. Sign‑on bonus up to $4,000 for licensed masters level candidates.
