ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Acute Care Pharmacy Services is responsible for the direction, leadership, operations, financial, regulatory, and quality components of all acute care hospital pharmacy departments.
Education & Experience- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Pharm
D degree - Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent work experience
- Three (3) years of health-system pharmacy leadership and management experience
- Master’s degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, or business preferred
- Has held administrative positions in a large academic or complex health system for at least five (5) years
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist for both Illinois and Wisconsin
- Board certified through the Board of Pharmacy Specialists – preferred
