Senior Financial Analyst | Global Manufacturer (hybrid)

A fast-growing, global manufacturing company headquartered in the northwest suburbs is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to their corporate finance team.

This is a highly visible role within a lean, high-performing group that partners closely with operational leadership and divisional finance teams across a multi-billion‑dollar, international business.

They are looking for someone with strong experience with inventory, balance sheet analysis, working capital, and manufacturing finance.

• Benchmark divisional performance using KPIs (ROA, working capital, inventory turns, DSO, headcount, bad debt, etc.)
• Analyze forecasts and variances to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Conduct detailed balance sheet analysis, with a focus on inventory and reserves
• Partner with divisions to drive cost‑saving initiatives and strategic projects
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls
• Prepare management reporting and handle ad hoc financial analyses
• Contribute to corporate financial policy development

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
• Experience working with inventory and working capital metrics
• Advanced Excel skills
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Strong communicator who can deliver concise, actionable recommendations
