Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Gaming Operations Manager, is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The incumbent is also responsible for monitoring and supervising an area of a pit consisting of one or more games to assure the delivery of Customer Service standards, while maintaining the integrity of the games.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)
- Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
- Fully responsible for the smooth, efficient operation of the table games for a particular table or area.
- Responsible for the supervision, operation and conduct of gaming at all table games.
- Checks equipment daily for problems and flaws that would jeopardize the integrity of the operation of gaming.
- Directly supervises dealers in assigned areas in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Responsible for training and evaluating Casino Dealers.
- Must accurately rate guest table play.
- Keep accurate track of money flow from Table Games and do related accounting work for all assigned tables.
- Insures adherence to all IGC gaming regulations and statues.
- Attend seminars when needed.
- Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
- Hard Rock operations.
- Policies and procedures as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques.
- Must be knowledgeable in two major games and three minor games.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
- Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
- Must have the ability to withstand noisy environments.
- Must be able to walk and stand for duration of shift.
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
- High School Diploma required.
- Must have one (1) year of dealer experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
- Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
