Swenson Spreader is seeking a motivated and driven Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team! As an Engineering Intern, you will assist in the development of both standard and custom products that meet customer needs and expectations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various departments, solve real-world engineering problems, and gain hands‑on experience in product development and manufacturing processes.

• Solve engineering problems and assist in daily activities related to product development.
• Utilize 3D CAD to verify component fit and form, create production drawings, models, and bills of material.
• Apply engineering principles to ensure the functionality of components and finished products.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to meet customer needs and improve product manufacturability.
• Use the Engineering Change Order process to update designs and resolve issues with field units.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Familiarity with basic engineering principles and practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
