- Support Materials function by reviewing delivery timelines according to plan
- Track and record all incoming shipments and material transactions
- Liaise with other departments like production, procurement, and sales to understand material needs & material flow
- Identify risks to material “on time delivery” and escalate to appropriate stakeholders
- Implement corrective actions to delivery timeline when indicated
- Review changes in material and product regulations across all relevant markets and update products and systems accordingly
- Work closely with engineering, legal, quality assurance, and other teams to integrate compliance requirements into product development
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years’ experience in manufacturing with a focus on materials
- Understanding of product safety regulations, material science, and industry standards strongly preferred
- Ability to analyze complex information, conduct risk assessments, and develop solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work in online databases to query and disseminate information
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite of programs, especially MS Excel
- Able to collaborate and work in a team setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with various teams and explaining complex requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities independently
- MS Project proficiency is preferred
- Analytical budget and finance skills preferred
Pay Range: $50,000-$65,000 annually
Compensation decisions are based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work RequirementsThis role is an on-site position located in Rockford, IL
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, zero travel is required.
Citizenship requirement: U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
