Overview
UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking an exceptional Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our dynamic Cardiothoracic Surgery team. - Provide comprehensive outpatient care to cardiothoracic patients, including consultations, pre-operative evaluations, and post-operative follow-up.
- Support inpatient rounding as needed, collaborating closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiologists, intensivists, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in advanced programs such as TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) and partner with the Carbone Cancer Center in caring for thoracic oncology patients.
- Contribute to the success of the region's only designated Heart Hospital, recognized for excellence in cardiac services.
- Shared call responsibilities with additional weekend/call compensation.

- Licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Illinois and active DEA license (or the ability to obtain licensure prior to or upon hire).
- Experience in cardiothoracic surgery, critical care, or cardiology strongly preferred.

- $132,234 - $145,878
