Summary One of the top ten mechanical contractors in the US is hiring an experienced Estimator for mechanical construction with projects valued in the millions of dollars.
Responsibilities- Review drawings, specs, and contracts
- Perform material and labor take-offs
- Prepare accurate bid proposals
- Coordinate vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities
- 2+ years mechanical estimating experience
- Strong HVAC, piping, sheet metal, and plumbing knowledge
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Experience with retrofit/remodel estimating
- Quote Soft experience a plus
- $90,000-$140,000 salary based on experience
- Annual bonus potential
