Overview
Butitta Auto, a full-service auto-repair shop serving the local and surrounding Rockford communities, is looking for a solid Diagnostic Automotive Technician with outstanding automotive repair & maintenance skills who is willing to grow with our team. Expect to stay challenged with a wide range of vehicles and complex jobs, while working with a great group of highly motivated and dedicated teammates.
CompensationA Technician Flat Rate Pay Plan: $28 - $33/HR Base Flat Rate:
Paid flat rate for every hour billed (no overtime).
- PLUS EARN an additional $4/HR - $8/HR with Tiered Billed Hours Accelerators.
The accelerators are retro to the first hour worked.
- 65 hour base rate bi-weekly guarantee. Tech must clock at least 80 hours in the pay period to receive the guarantee.

Requirements- 5+ years of Professional Automotive Repair experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and emissions/after treatment systems, engine diagnostic software on a wide variety of vehicles & equipment.
- Previous experience and/or working knowledge of DOT inspections.
- Experience with Engine and Transmission diagnostics.
- Top end engine repairs.
- Have your own tools and a valid driver's license.
- Strong character & work ethic with a positive attitude.
