Delivery Driver (06030) - 3028 College Drive

Position located at 3028 College Drive.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
• Good navigational skills: read maps, locate addresses within designated delivery area, navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
• Physical capability: standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying large cans, pushing trays, climbing stairs, etc.
• Ability to perform motor coordination tasks: eye-hand coordination required.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Computer and touchscreen proficiency to enter orders.
• Navigational skills and ability to read a map.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, in-store temperatures ranging from 36°F to over 90°F, sudden temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts. Visual and auditory demands include talking and hearing on telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, far vision and night vision for driving.

• Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position.
• Walking: short distances for short durations; travel between store and delivery vehicle.
• Sitting: paperwork completed in an office at a desk or table.
• Lifting: bulk product deliveries made twice a week, unload with hand truck, cases up to 50 lbs.
• Carrying: large cans (3 lbs 7 oz), pizzas (30 lbs), trays of dough (~12 lbs per tray).
• Pushing: moving trays on dollies, pulling trays, force up to 7.5 lbs.
• Climbing: navigate stairs or a ladder infrequently, sometimes five or more flights.
• Stooping/Bending: forward bending at waist for pizza assembly; repetitive between 30-45 seconds.
• Crouching/Squatting: occasional to stock shelves and clean low areas.
• Reaching: above 72″ occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change signs, lift and lower objects.

Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; may be required to make several deliveries per shift.

Eye-hand coordination is essential. Use of hands is continuous; shaping pizza dough, manipulating pizza peel, rolling cutter, assembling cardboard boxes, grasping cans, phone, pizza cutter, and boxes.
