The Construction Manager will be working onsite with our construction management and inspection teams. This role is vital in the planning, coordination and execution of natural gas pipeline projects, and regards safety as the highest priority!
As the Construction Manager/ Welding Inspector, you will primarily perform welding inspection and associated tasks in the Williams Rock Springs, Wyoming fabrication shop, with limited welding inspection in the field as required.

** Responsibilities/Expectations:
*** Performs welding inspections as a Williams-qualified Welding Inspector to ensure compliance with standards
* Supports fabrication and welding quality assurance at the Williams' Rock Springs, Wyoming fabrication shop
* Coordinates with project teams to verify construction quality and adherence to safety protocols
* Travels to project sites and remains on location for extended durations as needed for project completion when required
* Assists in front end construction planning, estimate development and analysis and contract management
* Assists in construction closeout
* Provides onsite leadership to our inspection team

** Education/Years of
Experience:
**
* Required:
High School Diploma/GED; minimum of three (3) years’ related experience
* Preferred:
Certification in welding inspection, AWS CWI certification
** Physical and Environment Work Requirements:
** Ability to:
* Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
* Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
* Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
* Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
* Use hand tools
** Other Requirements:
*** Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in visual inspection of welded joints and related tasks, with strong familiarity with API 1104, ASME IX, ASME B31.3, B31.4, and B1.8
* Solid knowledge of destructive and nondestructive test methods, procedures, equipment, weld defect identification, and applicable acceptance criteria
* Understanding of welding processes, procedures, inspection methods, welding/inspection equipment, design drawings, pipe and fitting specifications, welding filler metals, and pipeline/facility construction standards
* Ability to pass an eye examination (with or without corrective lenses) per company visual acuity requirements; must hold or obtain Williams welding inspector certification
* Must possess a valid state driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
* Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
