Seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a part‑time contract role performing Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for military Veterans nationwide, primarily in Rock Springs, WY. The position lasts 6‑12 months with an option to extend, starting ASAP after credentialing. Work involves 1‑2 days/week, with potential travel to multiple locations, totaling approximately 16 hours weekly, at a top hourly rate ($70‑$75).
- Conduct non‑treatment, one‑time examinations reviewing medical histories and capturing responses via a web‑based portal.
- Prepare electronic Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours for VA review.
- Exams may include musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory assessments, with ancillary tests available.
- Requires an active license, primary‑care experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Training provided; VA experience preferred. Flexible schedule and travel possible.
