Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry night shift position requiring active IL and IA RN licenses and prior travel experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a Med Surg/Telemetry hospital setting
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- Floating to other campuses within the same discipline may be required
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide and manage patient care
- Orientation consists of 16 hours with designated start dates
- Expect to float across multiple campuses as needed
- Required to work holidays as scheduled, with specific restrictions on time-off during the holiday season
- Facility uses standard scrub attire
- Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
- Active IA RN license required or proof of application for IA or compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Minimum of 2 years of previous Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
- At least 1 completed travel contract required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year required
- Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
