First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rock Island, Illinois.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty:
Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline:
RN - Duration:
12 weeks - 36 hours per week
- Shift:
12 hours, evenings, nights, flexible, rotating - Employment Type:
Travel
Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: Illinois & Iowa (Dual-License Requirement)
⭐ Certification Requirements- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- Active Illinois RN license at time of submission
- Iowa RN license also required
- If not active: traveler must provide proof of IA single-state or compact license application with compliance documents
Med Surg candidates MUST have cardiac experience
- Open heart experience strongly preferred
Skills & Equipment Involved:
- Chest tubes
- Fem Stop devices
- Trachs
- Continuous bladder irrigation (CBIs)
- Drains
- Central lines
Additional Expectations:
- May be required to function as Charge RN
- May be required to precept new hires
