Designer, Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Design complex welding and machining holding fixtures, robotic weld cells, special machines, and related jigs, dies, and fixtures. Study specifications, engineering blueprints, tool orders, and shop data. Work with engineering and shop employees to resolve design problems related to material characteristics, dimensional tolerances, service requirements, manufacturing procedures, and cost.

• Mechanical design
• CAD

Associates degree in engineering required. 2-3 years of experience with tooling and fixture design using Creo required. Pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical design experience preferred.

Intermediate Level

Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.

Pay range: $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
