Overview

Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate

Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr this range is provided by Sam's Club. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps; following proper forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
  • Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by properly handling claims and returns; zoning the area; receiving and stocking merchandise; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; signing and pricing merchandise appropriately; completing required audits, paperwork, logs, and other documentation; and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
  • Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member and identifying their needs; locating merchandise and assisting with purchasing decisions; providing Deli products to Members; resolving issues and concerns; and promoting the Company's products and services.
  • Follows Company policies related to Freezer/Cooler area by complying with food handling policies; operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment; following Cold Chain procedures when stocking merchandise; cleaning the freezer/cooler/deli area; monitoring equipment operation; and reporting issues to Management.
  • Supports overall operations related to the freezer, cooler, and deli stock with a focus on quality, sanitation, and member readiness.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
    :
    Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to successfully complete required trainings and assessments if offered the position.

Additional information

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. Actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Premiums may apply in certain circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season, or work performed).
