Summary

Compile data and generate reports for customers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct product development testing according to established protocols.
  • Perform ASTM and ISTA testing with precision and accuracy.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all ASTM, ISTA, UN, TAPPI, and Pratt Industries standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain and verify the calibration of all laboratory testing equipment.
  • Coordinate the repair and maintenance of all laboratory equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Interpret the impact of testing results on corrugated packaging performance.
  • Monitor and maintain specified laboratory environmental conditions.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager and team members in the planning and execution of projects.
  • Independently manage and complete projects as assigned by the Quality Manager, ensuring timely and accurate results. Assist other Quality staff members with their assigned projects.
  • Proactively observe equipment conditions and promptly report any potential malfunctions or issues to the Quality Manager.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Quality Manager.
Education And/or Experience
  • Preferred: A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Quality Auditor or Quality Technician.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information.
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
