Job specification

• Perform pre-operative assessments, including patient history reviews, physical examinations, and collaboration with the surgical team.
• Assist in surgical procedures related to trauma cases by providing skilled nursing care, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical competency and stay updated on best practices in trauma nursing.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1 year of job-related experience
• Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
