The Communications & Training Specialist will play a critical role in strengthening both internal and external communications during a period of rapid company growth. This position will support marketing initiatives, reinforce company values, enhance employee engagement, and lead training efforts across the organization.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, people-focused, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. This role requires someone with strong communication skills, experience facilitating training, and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead internal communications, including company-wide updates, birthdays, anniversaries, and culture-focused messaging.
- Support external communications and marketing efforts, including website updates, campaigns, and customer-facing messaging.
- Plan, develop, and deliver training programs, with an emphasis on company values, culture, onboarding, and employee development.
- Assist in driving employee engagement initiatives that reinforce company values and strengthen internal alignment.
- Partner closely with leadership to improve communication strategies across departments and locations.
- Contribute flexibly across projects, adapting to evolving priorities in a high-growth, “unicorn” environment where team members wear many hats.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in internal and external communications.
- Demonstrated experience leading training sessions, workshops, or group facilitation.
- Strong marketing and content development skills, including experience supporting websites or campaigns.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to maintain professionalism while navigating change.
