Our manufacturing facilities located in Clackamas, OR, Vancouver, WA, and Rock Hill, SC allow us to serve diverse markets such as Agriculture, Industrial, Municipal, Rental, and Mining.
We are seeking a Pump Assembler where you will play a key role in our production and repair operations by building, tearing down, and rebuilding industrial pumps with precision and care. This hands-on position is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working with tools, following detailed work instructions, and producing high-quality equipment that meets strict performance standards.
This is a great opportunity if you have mechanical skills; whether you've worked on your own car or in a shop.
Location: Rock Hill, South Carolina
Pay: $17 - $22 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
About The Position
As a Pump Assembler, you will support production and repair operations by assembling, disassembling, and rebuilding industrial pumps. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow work instructions to produce high-quality equipment.
You'll work with tools, components, and precision measurements while contributing to a safe, efficient, and team-oriented work environment.
What You'll Do
- Tear down, inspect, and rebuild damaged customer pumps and refurbished units
- Identify worn or damaged components and recommend repairs or replacements
- Assemble and install pump components according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions
- Work with Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate assembly
- Use impact guns, wrenches, bolts, rivets, and other fasteners to secure components
- Fit components to close tolerances to meet operational requirements
- Use hand tools, air tools, and precision measuring instruments (depth gauges, feeler gauges, dial calipers)
- Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other lifting equipment (rigging experience a plus)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Meet production timelines while supporting a strong team-oriented culture
- Mechanical aptitude and mechanical experience are required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical experience
- Experience as an auto mechanic or similar mechanical trade is highly transferable
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and impact tools
- Experience using precision measuring devices is a plus
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings preferred
- Comfortable working with mechanical assemblies and close tolerances
