Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with a passion for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintaining advanced manufacturing systems? PDM's Manufacturing facility operates 24/7, and we're looking for a Maintenance Technician to ensure that our production lines remain efficient, safe, and reliable. This hands-on position requires expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintain and troubleshoot a variety of manufacturing systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, and mechanical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and rebuilds to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
- Optimize machine performance through troubleshooting and advanced problem-solving techniques.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance machinery performance, increase product yield, and ensure high-quality output.
- Participate in machinery startups, shutdowns, and preventive maintenance while adhering to safety standards.
- Use your technical knowledge to provide feedback and suggest improvements for ongoing operations.
- Ensure exemplary housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
What You'll Bring:
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control logic systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with hands-on experience working on high-speed manufacturing equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing to the team's success.
- Flexibility to work shifts when needed, and availability for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts as required.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a technical, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Forklift certification preferred; OSHA 30 certification is required within 3 months of hire.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.
