Where You Come In

The Facility Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient daily operations at our Rock Hill facility.

This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys diagnosing equipment issues, minimizing downtime, and supporting a production environment. In addition to equipment maintenance, this position supports general facility upkeep and partners with internal safety and compliance leaders on fleet-related needs.

What You'll Do

Production Equipment Maintenance (Primary Focus - Required)

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery to minimize downtime
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues and perform corrective repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment rebuilds, adjustments, and reliability improvements
• Identify recurring equipment issues and communicate recommendations to operations leadership
• Support safe startup, shutdown, and ongoing operation of production equipment

This is the core responsibility of the role. Production equipment experience is required.

Facility & Building Maintenance (Secondary Focus)

• Identify facility issues and support resolution, including coordinating with and assisting outside vendors and contractors
• Provide site knowledge and operational context to contractors during facility repairs (e.g., roof leaks, infrastructure issues)
• Support a safe, clean, and functional work environment

Fleet Support (Limited Scope)

• Perform basic inspections, oil changes and light troubleshooting on company vehicles and box trucks
• Address minor issues such as lights, safety equipment, and readiness checks
• Partner with the DOT/OSHA Manager on scheduled maintenance, inspections, and compliance activities

Fleet compliance programs and major initiatives are led by the DOT/OSHA Manager.

Operational & Fabrication Support (As Needed)

• Build or modify carts, racks, tables, and fixtures to support workflow efficiency
• Assist with equipment relocation, setup, and layout changes
• Support operational improvement projects as needed

Documentation, Safety & Communication

• Respond to maintenance requests and document work performed
• Communicate repair status, delays, or risks to leadership
• Follow company safety procedures and comply with OSHA and applicable regulations
• Identify and report safety hazards related to equipment or facilities

What You'll Bring

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing production or industrial equipment (required)
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting facility or building maintenance
• Ability to work independently, prioritize repairs, and manage time effectively
• Clear communication skills and comfort partnering with operations and safety leaders
• High school diploma or GED required; technical, vocational, or trade training preferred

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Type: Hourly
• Pay Range: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour (based primarily on production equipment experience)
• Schedule:
  • Full-time, on-site
  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
  • Occasional overtime or weekend work as needed
