We’re partnering with a growing advanced manufacturer in Rock Hill, SC that is investing heavily in robotics, process engineering, and continuous improvement, and they’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in that journey.

This is an opportunity to work hands‑on with automation, robotics, lean manufacturing, and cutting‑edge production technology in a modern manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will serve as the technical backbone of the production floor — driving efficiency, quality, and scalability.

  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes across assembly and production lines
  • Create and analyze CAD drawings, schematics, and layouts using Solid Works, AutoCAD
    , and related tools
  • Program, troubleshoot, and improve robotics, PLCs, and vision inspection systems
  • Perform root cause analysis and lead corrective actions to reduce scrap, defects, and downtime
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies to eliminate waste and increase throughput
  • Lead equipment installations, line upgrades, and facility expansions
    , coordinating with vendors and internal teams
  • Design and oversee tooling, fixtures, and mechanical assemblies
  • Develop technical documentation including process flows, GD&T, safety procedures, and schematics
  • Train production and maintenance teams on new equipment, processes, and safety protocols
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong background in robotics, PLCs, CAD (Solid Works), GD&T, and automation
  • Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, CI, tooling design, and production optimization
  • Hands‑on experience with robot programming, welding automation, and vision systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
  • Skilled in structured root cause analysis and problem‑solving
  • Comfortable working directly on the factory floor with industrial machinery
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Leadership
