Press Assistant

Job Overview

The Press Assistant role supports the setup, operation, changeover, and maintenance processes on flexographic printing presses.

• Take direction from Press Operator
• Coordinate duties with Operator to minimize waste and downtime
• General cleaning
• Preparing for upcoming jobs
• Retrieving ink from inventory
• Staging of ink and plates
• Retrieving and cutting cores as needed
• Emptying waste bins as needed
• Follow all applicable instructions relative to GMP's
• Other duties as assigned

Prior experience not required, we will train you!

• Work effectively in an active team environment
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Differentiation of colors
• Add, subtract, multiply, divide, and read a ruler to 1/32 of an inch
