Associate Attorney, Litigation

Overview

Remote Associate Attorney position with a national legal firm specializing in Civil Litigation Defense. Located in South Carolina (REMOTE). Requires admission to practice in South Carolina and residency in SC (not Charleston).

$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

• Draft legal documents such as pleadings and legal memoranda.
• Manage a heavy workload with strong organizational skills.
• Handle a range of consumer protection issues related to transactional and civil litigation matters.
• Appear in local county courts as needed.

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in South Carolina (multi-state admission is a plus).
• Must currently reside in South Carolina (not in Charleston).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant litigation experience at a law firm.
• Superior organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management and colleagues.
• Strong legal research skills;
  Lexis Nexis proficiency is a plus.

• Base salary $80,000 - $90,000 (DOE).
