Overview

Adoration Home Health and Hospice seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Rock Hill, SC. The PTA provides expert, patient-centered care in home health settings.

Schedule:

PRN, up to 10-12 visits/week.

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Confer with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, progress toward goals, questions and concerns.
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing adaptive equipment; incorporate adaptive equipment to enhance rehabilitation.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the required format and timelines.

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification, per state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
