About the role
As a Principal Engineer (APx Commissioning Support) you will lead development of Westinghouse products in support of the APx Commissioning organization. You will establish the standard commissioning program and procedures and support infrastructure development needed to support the various scopes.
Report to the Commissioning Manager and be located at Rock Hill, SC or Cranberry Township, PA. This hybrid position requires onsite presence 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the standard commissioning program strategy document.
- Develop and maintain a recommended standard commissioning schedule.
- Develop and maintain a set of standard commissioning administrative procedures.
- Plan and implement a comprehensive training program to ensure readiness of deployable test engineers.
- Identify and support procurement of specialty test equipment.
- Support APX project teams as requested.
- Support the APx Project Development group responding to customer requests for information.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 7+ years of applicable experience.
- Experience with the operations of nuclear power plants.
- Understanding of ITAACs (Inspections, Tests, Analysis, Acceptance Criteria).
- Understanding of the AP1000 COL process.
- Understanding of AP1000 ITAACs and their use in the delivery of the AP1000.
- AP1000 plant commissioning/testing experience.
- Project Management skills.
- Familiarity with testing and testing analysis.
- Technical background.
- Understanding of project priorities and teamwork abilities.
- Experience mentoring engineers.
- Experience leading engineers in the execution of complex tasks.
We are committed to transparency and equity. The base salary range for this position, dependent on experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
