The Facility EHS Manager is responsible for leading and managing the facility’s safety, health, and environmental activities to build a strong safety culture with zero harm focus and full compliance with all government regulations and company requirements.

Job responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance with all pertinent OSHA, EPA and OBE requirements, programs, and regulations.
• Maintain the company’s database and all other safety and environmental‑related records in accordance with all federal, state, local, and company requirements.
• Oversee, evaluate, and continuously improve facility safety initiatives to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and to build a strong safety culture. This would include but not limited to:
  Supporting the annual Safety Plan development.
• Coordinating required safety documentation for the facility (JSAs, Machine Guarding & PPE Assessments, New Equipment Evaluations, etc.)
• Reviewing and ensuring proper updating and compliance of Facility Written Programs (LOTO, PIT, Haz Com, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environment or related field or relevant work experience equivalent to a degree.
• Minimum 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret governmental safety and environmental regulations (i.e., OSHA).
• Personality, presence, and confidence to lead meetings, and coach peers & leaders.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently prioritizing work to achieve deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
