Pay: $45/hour - $60/hour and dependent on experience

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher to support students in a Behavior Support classroom serving Kindergarten through 2nd Graders. This role is ideal for an educator passionate about helping young learners develop positive behaviors, social-emotional skills, and academic growth in a structured, supportive environment.

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students’ IEP and behavior goals
• Implement behavior intervention plans and positive behavior support strategies
• Create a structured, predictable, and nurturing classroom environment
• Support students’ social-emotional development and self-regulation skills
• Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and related service providers
• Monitor student progress and maintain required special education documentation

• Valid state certification/license in Special Education required
• Experience working with students with behavioral needs preferred
• Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and classroom management techniques
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
