Sales and Operations Planning Analyst
3D Systems is seeking a S&OP Analyst to join the Global Inventory organization in Rock Hill, SC. The role transforms demand forecasts, supply inputs, and operational constraints into a clear, executable Sales & Operations Plan (S&OP) that supports quarterly production and spare parts availability for global customers. The analyst focuses on managing inventory parameters, ensuring accurate planning data within the ERP system, and driving alignment across Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Service, particularly for our plastics hardware printers and accessories business.

- Translate demand forecasts and installed‑base service requirements into supply plans that support the quarterly S&OP cycle.
- Maintain inventory parameters, target levels, and production plans.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and consumption patterns to adjust planning assumptions proactively.
- Lead monthly and quarterly consensus planning discussions, presenting supply positions, risks, constraints, and mitigation paths.
- Provide scenario planning (best case, constrained, unconstrained) to guide production prioritization and business decisions.
- Collaborate with Operations to align production schedules with installation requirements and revenue expectations.
- Maintain all planning data and MRP parameters within Oracle, including lead‑times, order modifiers, bills of distribution, and replenishment logic.
- Monitor inventory health and service levels, identifying root causes of shortages and recommending corrective actions.
- Drive continuous data accuracy within the ERP system to ensure reliable planning outputs.
- Partner with Supplier Management, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure visibility into capacity, constraints, and availability risks.
- Establish effective communication channels to support proactive notification of supply exceptions.
- Collaborate with Engineering on part revisions, phase‑ins/outs, and impacts to inventory strategy.
- Participate in or lead improvement projects related to forecasting, inventory optimization, network strategy, or data quality.
- Support continuous improvement of S&OP processes and planning tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or a similar analytically focused supply chain role at an OEM or contract manufacturer.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred).
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience is a plus.
- 2+ years of analytics‑focused experience in supply chain planning.
- PPAP, aftermarket/service parts, or technical change management experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across functional teams.
- Proven capability to manage multiple complex tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Highly analytical with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power
BI. - Familiarity with regulatory/compliance topics (REACH, ROHS, WEEE, Cal Prop 65) preferred.
