OverviewThe Re-engaging Teens Restoring Justice Program will focus on youth ages 14-19, who have dropped out/ are at risk of dropping out of school, have been released from/ are participants in the juvenile justice system, are struggling with homelessness and food insecurity, and whose connections with meaningful adults are lacking.
Transitional Navigators are part of a community-based team and are assigned to a specific focus area including: school-based programs, runaway and homeless youth programs, teen court/juvenile justice programs, community engagement/teen empowerment or workforce/gun violence prevention programs.
ScheduleFull time, 35 hours per week. 12-month position.
Responsibilities- Deliver a restorative-based system
- Create and oversee data collection and program evaluation processes
- Provide monthly reports to the Associate Director
- Coordinate requests for Prevention Education services
- Outreach and information dissemination
- Referral and referral readiness
- Immediate response and support
- Prevention education
- Social/emotional support services
- Case management
- Immediate crisis response
- Asset development activities
- Transitional services
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Service or related field AND 1-3 years' related experience OR equivalent combination / Master's Degree preferred
- A valid drivers license
- Strong crisis response skills
- Case management skills
Pay Rate: $22- $24.75 per hour
