** HOURLY RATE:** $22.91
*** Responsibilities
* *** Safely and effectively perform gas and electric tasks including but not limited to turn-on, turn-off, obtaining meter reads, and meter exchanges.
* Safely and effectively work field collections including in-person customer collections, notice delivery, disconnect for non-payment, and reconnect after disconnection.
* Report hazardous conditions, meter tampering, and meter conditions.
* Timely completion of assignments.
* Assist in ensuring data integrity and customer satisfaction.
* Adhere to safety policies and practices.
* Maintain current meter location records and maps.
* Proper care and maintenance of all assigned company equipment.
* Other duties as assigned.
*** Skills and Requirements
**** Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must have high school diploma or GED.
* Must have a valid driver’s license.
* Must be willing to work in various weather conditions including heat/cold, rain and snow.
* Must be willing to work extra hours as required, including storm work.
* Must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without rea sonable accommodations.
* Must successfully complete background check, drug screen, and audiogram.
* Must be particularly alert in observing hazards and avoiding accidents.
* Must be self-motivated.
* Must be a team player.
* Must be able to complete physically demanding tasks on a regular basis
