General Statement Of DutiesThe Service Technician services, installs, repairs and maintains all dispensing equipment in related product lines performed to customers' satisfaction. The Service Technician is responsible for the installation of beverage equipment, chemical mixing dispensing systems, and/or dishwashers. Additionally, responsible for preventative maintenance on equipment including 24/7 emergency service calls.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Install dispensing equipment efficiently and properly.
- Repair all equipment in the territory assigned.
- Maintain all dispensing equipment within established and acceptable time frames, including monthly maintenance on chemical and beverage accounts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to electric, plumbing, installation of dishwashers, water lines, drain lines, and copper / pvc piping.
- Respond to all service calls by phone and/or via physical inspection of equipment in a time frame that is conducive to an excellent service level.
- Order parts as required and within contract requirements and/or customer needs.
- Maintain an effective inventory level of parts.
- Schedule a preventative maintenance schedule on chemical and beverage accounts.
- Effectively communicate plans and activities to immediate supervisor.
- Display polite and courteous attitude with customers.
- Properly communicate to appropriate personnel the status of job completions, repairs, and/or problems.
- Reduce number of service calls through proactive preventative maintenance.
- Complete documentation, service reports, as well as maintain appropriate logs.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Preferred electrical, mechanical, and plumbing skills with ability to troubleshoot effectively. Ability to build customer relationship through excellent interpersonal skills. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be self‑motivated and willing to work extended hours, including on‑call 24/7.
Education And/Or ExperienceHigh school diploma with a minimum of six (6) months of equipment repair or mechanical experience preferred and/or equipment related training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licences, RegistrationsValid Driver's license.
Work Environment / Physical DemandsThe work environment characteristics and physical demands described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Salary: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
