Mission

The Diesel Technician keeps the operation moving by maintaining and repairing heavy‑duty trucks and equipment that serve our communities every day. This role ensures every vehicle leaving the shop is safe, reliable, and mission‑ready — enabling our drivers to perform essential work without interruption.

Technicians are trusted tradespeople and teammates — not parts changers. You ensure reliability, protect safety, and represent the standard of excellence our community depends on.

Second (11am) or Third Shift (11pm), 10.5 hours a day, Monday - Friday.

$30/hour = Strong, reliable technician still growing toward mastery.

$40/hour = Master‑level problem solver who leads by example, trains peers, and enhances total fleet performance.

Performance Objectives (What Success Looks Like)
  • Maintain Fleet Readiness: Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections to minimize downtime and maximize fleet uptime.
  • Diagnose & Repair: Identify and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues across a diverse fleet of heavy‑duty trucks.
  • Ensure Safety & Compliance: Guarantee all repairs meet DOT, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
  • Contribute to Team Efficiency: Support teammates by sharing workload, communicating clearly, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
  • Develop Professionally: Participate in Career Pathways Program — growing toward Technician A or Master status through training and mentorship.
Fit Traits
  • Mechanically curious and resourceful — you solve problems, not just replace parts.
  • Reliable, self‑directed, and steady under pressure.
  • Team‑oriented, safety‑conscious, and proud of your craftsmanship.
  • Comfortable working second or third shift independently once trained.
  • Motivated to grow — you want to become the person the team depends on.
Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repair of heavy‑duty trucks and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and correct mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with precision.

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and uphold safety procedures.
  • Support teammates and help sustain the shop’s collaborative, performance‑driven culture.
Why Join This Team

This shop is defined by teamwork, ownership, and trust. The manager leads from the floor — shoulder‑to‑shoulder with the crew, ensuring nobody faces a job alone. Every tech is respected as a professional, and culture fit matters as much as skill fit.

The result: 21 technicians, 12 bays, and zero drama. No egos, no shortcuts — just people who care about safety, reliability, and performance.
