Electrician

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for roughing in conduit and wiring new commercial buildings based on plans and prints provided by the General Contractor. You will terminate wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays, wire instruments that control power, lighting, and heating units, and provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. Your work will involve the use of power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.

• Rough in conduit and wiring for new commercial buildings.
• Terminate wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays.
• Wire instruments for power, lighting, and heating control.
• Provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units.
• Utilize power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.

• 7+ years of experience in commercial electrical work, including bending conduit or pipe and running wire.
• Safety-oriented with OSHA certification.
• Proficient with saws, drills, utility knives, ohmmeters, and testing tools.
• Experience with pulling wire, wiring, bending conduit, construction, and handling 480V systems.

• Experience with 227V and 480V systems.
• Skilled in conduit, rigid conduit, and pipe bending.
• Proficient in outlet wiring.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Rochester, NY.
