!
Salary Range: $21-$29/hr.
Location: Rochester, NY
Primary Function and Scope:
Power & Construction Group is adding Experienced Gas Division Laborers to our growing team! The gas division performs installations and maintenance of gas mains, services, and regulator stations. We are looking for people in Clarence, Rochester, and the Southern Tier areas.
REPORTS TO: Foreman
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate and work with crew to complete jobs in a timely manner
- Manual labor, including but not limited to digging with a hand shovel or bar to expose live utilities, heavy lifting, climbing in and out of trenches
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance on equipment and tools
- Demonstrate safe and proper use of tools and equipment
- Employee reports directly to job site on a daily basis
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Reliable transportation to get to and from various jobsites
- Have no lifting or physical restrictions
- OSHA 10 Certification a plus, will train
- Work outdoors year-round in all types of weather
- NGA Gas Op Quals a plus, will train the right person
- Equipment knowledge a plus
- CDL-B license a plus, not required

Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing a DOT Physical, drug screen, background check and driver’s license check, and candidates must maintain passing results throughout the term of employment with P&CG.
