Company Overview: At Crickler Vending, we provide office vending services and equipment to companies in multiple industries and of various sizes. We specialize in breakroom improvements that leave your staff empowered to take back their day with meal options that are healthy and convenient.

Under the direct supervision of the Service Manager, this role involves conducting skilled mechanical repairs and the necessary maintenance of machines and equipment, both in the field and on site. The technician will also perform related tasks as needed to ensure optimal equipment functionality.

• Repair, prepare, adjust, service, install, test, and maintain vending machinery and equipment in the field.
• Analyze malfunctions and perform general repairs.
• Listen to and resolve customer service concerns.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of parts and equipment on the service truck.
• Notify the parts manager when parts are needed.
• Deliver products as required.
• Assist with account installations as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of time and materials used for each job.
• Assist with the implementation of operational projects, examples include price changes, credit card reader upgrades, camera upgrades, etc.
• Provide a positive customer service experience when at accounts and when interacting with all customers.
• Assist branch personnel with additional technical tasks that are asked of them.
• Communicate and work with internal personnel and other industry partnerships for resources and resolutions.
• Work the on-call shift on a varying schedule and ensuring priority accounts and urgent calls are addressed timely.
• Additional tasks may be assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of refrigeration and cooling systems
• Experience with mechanical equipment or vending
• Ability to lift and push a minimum of 60 pounds
• Ability to operate a hand truck
• Full range of motion in upper and lower extremities

• Proficient in locating, correcting, and adjusting defects in vending or mechanical equipment.
• Skilled in repairing and maintaining vending or mechanical equipment.
• Ability to set work priorities and organize work schedules effectively.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Good judgment in decision-making situations.
• Capability to perform heavy physical labor and lifting as required.

• Location and Travel Requirements:
  This position is primarily based in one of our three branches:
  Rochester, NY;
  Buffalo, NY;
  Elmira, NY. Travel to all three branches and their accounts is required. A company vehicle will be available for business-related travel.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  This position involves continuous activities, including driving, lifting, walking, sitting, bending, and standing. Frequent activities include climbing stairs, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and performing repetitive hand motions.
