Security Officer - Rochester, NY

Overview

Securitas Security is looking to hire a few experienced security guards to work at various locations throughout Monroe County.

To be considered for these positions, candidates must have 3 or more years of security/law enforcement/military experience as it is a contractual requirement.

Duties will include customer service, emergency response, and the ability to help diffuse escalated situations. Quick thinking and conducting oneself professionally in high‑stress situations is needed.

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling a variety of locations, enforcing regulations, and ensuring order. Frequently, Security Officers provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
